Spring Equinox will fall this year on Friday March 20th. This day is also Ostara and the Sun enters Aries.

Did you know?
March was originally the first month of the Roman calendar. That changed when the calendar was changed to the Gregorian calendar in 1752 and March became the third month. March was named after the god of war, Mars. The Anglo-Saxons called the month Hlyd Monath which means, stormy month. The last three days of March were said to be borrowed from April.
One of the flowers most associated with March is the Wild Daffodil (or Narcissus, named after the boy in Greek Mythology, who was changed into a flower) This flower is also known as Lent Lily because it blooms in early Spring and the blooms usually drop before Easter.
In England the Daffodils inspired poets such as William Wordsworth to write his famous poem “Daffodils”.

Since we are still under the Sun in Pisces, which is a Water element sign, as well as on the 3rd quarter of the Moon phase, this week is the perfect time for such magickal workings.
Place all in a small square piece of cheesecloth or any other soft material you have at hand. Make a small bundle, making sure that it is securely closed, so that herbs do not spill out easily. Place this bundle in your bath tub (or a plastic pail). Water has to be warm so that the herbs release their natural properties and aromas. Get into the water, or splash yourself if using a plastic pail, squeeze the bundle if you wish and pass around your body.
Visualize your physical body and aura being cleansed of all negativity, and accumulated spiritual debris. Before going to bed, prepare a chamomile or a blend of chamomile and lavender tea if you want, and release the last of your worries before going to bed. Enjoy the good night sleep!
