HARVEST MOON!

Dear reader! I hope to find you well in body and spirit. We have finally arrived in September, and although we are still officially in the summer season, time moves forward, and in about 12 days, it will be officially the best season of all… Autumn!

Although it seems we are in for warm weather to the end of the month of September, the mind might rebel, but the heart knows we will be over the horrible summer season – can you tell I don’t like it?

Usually, by now, my home starts to be a reflection of the season to come, but, due to the weather, that feels as if one is walking in a bowl of soup; the spirit feels weak. I am trying, and little by little placing little autumny knick-knacks and whatnot. I’ll get there.

In the meantime, let’s reflect upon today’s Full Moon.

Full Moon in Pisces

Saturday, 2nd Quarter

Traditionally called a Harvest Moon, the sign on the spotlight is Pisces. This is one of the most magical of signs (I know I mentioned this before in another post). The very characteristics that many astrologers put down as “weak” are the ones that make this Astro sign have the powerful ability to draw and manifest anything related to magickal work.

It is that same ability to believe that what they dream will become a reality, the ability to move between the physical and astral through meditation and “see” things not many see. That empathy, the going with what the heart feels, or sixth sense if you may, is what makes this a strong magickal conduit. So yay! for Pisces Full Moon or any other Moon phase.

The power of the Full Moon is felt through three days. Even though the Moon moves into the sign of Aries tonight (at 11:47 p.m. PST), we still have the energy of the Moon to help in any spiritual endeavor. Let’s reflect on the summer season (leaving, leaving, and gone soon, hehe!:)) and how time moves inexorably forward, seasons change, and weather changes (please..), which makes us realize that nothing last forever. So let’s enjoy the little things. Full Moon, Pisces Moon, bring a change, good things, many blessings, and pretty soon, before we know, the best of all…Halloween!
